Many times we wait on our manager to drive our ideas or respond to our inquires. The truth of the matter is that managers in 2013 are overworked, stressed out, need to do more with less and are trying to protect their own jobs.    In order to create the job situation you want, you need to drive what you want, keep your manager informed and just go for it!
